Rozalind MacPhail.
Her bio from http://www.nlfolk.com/folknight.html#
is
"From one Island to another. Multi-instrumentalist Rozalind MacPhail aka
"Mystery Flute Girl" has become one of Canada¹s most unique and
captivating singer-songwriters. She effortlessly loops flute, voice,

This Toronto Island raised flower-child sang and danced throughout her
childhood for anyone who would listen. The flute came into Rozalind¹s

She pursued an Undergraduate Performance Degree for Flute at the
University of Toronto, studying with Douglas Stewart. Rozalind then
moved to Ottawa to pursue a Masters Degree in Flute Performance with
Robert Cram.
From composing at the Banff Centre to performing at the Dawson City
International Short Film Festival to touring solo across the country,
Rozalind has settled in St. John¹s, Newfoundland, recording her
sophomore album with Don Ellis.
Rozalind has collaborated with celebrated indie musical artists
including Yo La Tengo, Lou Barlow, Constantines, Great Lake Swimmers and
many more. Her recent album Edgework is experiencing a surge in
popularity among CBC radio programmers and listeners."
